Synopsis

Another game in the lineage of Infogrames games inspired by H. P. Lovecraft, started with Alone In the Dark, Prisoner of Ice puts you in the shoes of Lieutenant Ryan, an American agent stationed aboard the submarine H.M.S. Victoria for a rescue mission in Antarctica. The Victoria recovers two mysterious crates during its rescue mission. Before you know it, the captain is eaten alive by the cargo, a horrible monster you're trapped with aboard the submarine. And that's just the beginning of your problems.

Prisoner of Ice presents a very simplified version of the classic adventure game interface, where you can click the cursor on the left button to manipulate an object or the right button to look at it. The program does not allow you to do anything with these objects, except for the few actions necessary to advance the game.
