Synopsis
Pro Yakyuu Greatest Nine 97 is part of the Pro Yakyuu Greatest Nine Baseball series. The game plays much the same and follows the same control layout as most baseball titles released at the time.
The pitcher throws inside a small area and the batter tries to hit the ball inside that same area. The pitcher can choose from four different pitching styles and each pitcher has their strengths and weaknesses, just like batsmen.
