Synopsis

Prohibition is a shoot'em up that takes place in New York in 1930. The city is invaded by gangsters and you are hired by the police to rid it of them. The gameplay is simple: you're faced with a row of buildings, a gangster appears and you have to shoot him down before the on-screen timer runs out and he shoots you first. You can hide until the timer restarts, but this is also limited. At the end of each stage is a bonus round where you have to shoot gangsters in a room, with no chance to hide and a faster timer. As you progress through each stage, the game becomes faster and enemies harder to find and hit. Of course, your goal is to reach the end of the game with the highest score possible.
