Synopsis

Projectyle is a futuristic sports video game developed by Steve Wetherill and Marc Dawson and published by Electronic Arts in 1990 for the Amiga and Atari ST. In the game, eight teams compete in groups of three on eight different courts. These lands are made up of five zones. The first three, at the top, right and left of the screen, correspond to the goals of each team. The fourth, in the center, is the zone where the game starts again after each goal. The fifth, at the bottom, is made up of three additional end zones, one for each team. The areas are linked together by corridors and are each occupied by a player from each team. A match takes place in three thirds and the objective is to score as many goals as possible while avoiding conceding any. The game offers three game modes. League mode retraces a complete season, over a period of between 6 and 21 weeks. Sudden Death mode allows you to play nine-match elimination tournaments and single-player mode allows you to play individual matches. Up to eight players can compete in the top two, each controlling one of the eight teams available in the game
