Synopsis

Psychic Storm is a vertical scrolling shooter in which the player takes on the role of four characters who must protect the city of Neo Hong Kong from an assault led by vicious insectoid aliens. The player can choose any of four characters before each level. Characters are distinguished by their ships' unique attacks: Alex uses a Vulcan Gun, Charr has a short-range "psychic" beam, Joe has a slow but powerful attack called Hell Flame, and Nastasia uses an ion laser. The game's most notable feature, however, is its transformation mode. Each character can transform into a larger and much more powerful insect-like biomechanical vessel.
