Synopsis

Pulsoid is a game for one or two players where the objective is to eliminate all the mirror blocks located above the energy mirror on each screen using the energy mirror and pulse lasers to advance to the next level. As the laser bounces all around the screen, it eliminates blocks when it hits them, but some of them need to be hit multiple times to be eliminated. Certain blocks, when hit, release a bonus battery bearing a letter which, when picked up by the Energy Mirror, gives the player a bonus such as increased length, multiple pulses, and activation of a plasma barrier. If an impulse passes the energy mirror to the bottom of the screen, the player loses one of his three lives and, if he is playing with two players, it is the other player who plays.
