Description

Pump It Up is a series of dance games on sensitive mats created by the South Korean company Andamiro from 1999, in direct competition with Dance Dance Revolution of Konami. The system is based on a platform with five pressure zones (instead of four) and offers a K-pop and electronic music catalog. This common BIOS manages the initialization of the hardware, the reading of the dance mat sensors and the loading of the different editions of the game over the years. The series remains active today in arcades.
