Synopsis

"Punch-Out!! featuring Mr. Dream" allows you to put on the gloves of a young boxer, Little Mac, who must show what he is capable of by entering the ring to face a series of charismatic adversaries from all over the world on the 3 circuits offered. The final fight will have you facing heavyweight Mike Tyson!
This game is based on the arcade game "Punch-Out!!" released in 1983 and is the re-release of the NES game "Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!" who will be retired in 1990 in the USA and 1991 in Europe with the replacement of Myke Tyson by a similar boxer (as well as Piston Honda) and who fights in an identical way, with only a few changes to his face and his skin color and a greater number of victories (99 victories in 99 matches including 99 by knockout..): Legend has it that the modification of this character is due to the criminal news of the real Mike Tyson, with whom Nintendo no longer wanted to associate its image. Nintendo denied it, arguing that the rape case in which Mike Tyson was involved (1991) took place after Nintendo's decision not to renew its contract with Tyson (1990), the latter having just lost his world heavyweight title to Buster Douglas. That said, Mike Tyson was already in trouble in other cases with the law.
