Pure-Stat College Baseball is a sports simulation that allows the player to replay individual games or entire seasons of baseball, from the past or present, while maintaining a permanent record of their team's statistics using the built-in statistics compiler. In this simulation. The player can relive 8 major Major League Baseball teams, from the 1927 New York Yankees to the 1976 Cincinnati Reds.

The game allows for player versus player, player versus computer, and computer versus computer. The player can choose to play at Yankee, Dodger or Sublogic Stadium. The defending player sets the pitch type and outfield position. Batting players define the type of batting they wish to perform. The computer calculates the resulting game, which is displayed in animated form on the screen.
