Synopsis

Curiously, the Nec was never entitled to its version of Tetris, and for a long time had to make do with the very good copy made by Sega, I called Columns, and the more questionable Hatris and Spin Spair. Fortunately, the arrival of the SCD allowed the birth of excellent clones, notably Panic Bomber......and Puyo Puyo CD, in fact!
Puyo Puyo no longer suggests collecting blocks, but gelatinous beans, in order to form groups of four of the same color, and thus make them disappear. An opponent plays in parallel, and it is the first to reach the top of his tank who is designated the loser. So of course, we can just play by feeling and exploit the obvious possibilities, or concentrate a little more and try to build “thoughtful” scaffolding allowing beautiful chain reactions. This second style of play is particularly fun because, even if it takes longer to set up, it generates great twists and turns; especially since the combos you succeed have repercussions on your opponent's board by sending colorless beans, which are quite difficult to eliminate.
