Synopsis

3rd installment in the Puyo Puyo series, the evil Dark Prince has caused the sun to increase in size and power dangerously, and the world of Puyo Puyo is about to be burned to the ground, unless you stop it. The game offers 3 distinct campaigns, each pitting you against different enemies that you must fight Puyo Puyo style: At each stage, you face an opponent in 2 different game zones, one for you and the other for the opponent.
When the "puyos" start to fall in your area, you must line them up and create groups of the same color in order to clear the screen before being overwhelmed by the puyos. The chain of puyos of different colors allows you to send several "trash" puyos into the opponent's playing area in the hope of flooding it or slowing down its progress. Whoever beats the opposing player moves on to the next challenger.
