Synopsis

QIX++ is an Xbox Live Arcade remake of the game QIX that now includes high definition graphics.

The goal of the game is to defeat the "QIX" by using the user-controlled marker to cut off more than 75% of the playing area. Once 75% of the playing area is cut off, you will move on to the next level. During gameplay, the QIX will appear as waves, expanding triangular patterns, and floating circles. Energy pulses along the edge of the playing area will also hinder you in the game and cost you your life if you come into contact with them.

However, you do get some help during the game. If you cut off an area containing a pickup, you will get a boost. These come in the form of point increases and limited invincibility. You have two stages to complete, each with eight sections. Multiplayer offers local or online play where you can compete with up to 4 players or bots. The goal of QIX++ in multiplayer is the same as the single-player element, except you are now racing to be the one to clear the board first.
