Synopsis

The player takes on the role of a protagonist known as the Ranger, who has been sent into a portal in order to stop an enemy codenamed "Quake". The government had experimented with teleportation technology and developed a working prototype called "Slipgate"; the mysterious Quake compromised the Slipgate by connecting it to his own teleportation system, using it to send death squads into the "human" dimension to test humanity's martial abilities.
