Synopsis

Quiz no Hoshi is a trivia game with multiple game modes; the main one is called "Heart of Stone" and is a quiz series with strategy game elements. The plot involves the kidnapping of a little girl by the mafia, and the attempts of a boy named Hoshimaru to save her, while escaping from an impending apocalypse. Hoshimaru can be controlled on a map (often with branching paths); each path usually leads to a conversation scene with a quiz. Both Hoshimaru and the "enemies" have life bars; The protagonist's health increases after successful quiz challenges. Correct answers damage the enemy, while incorrect answers deplete the hero's life. The number of possible answers and the nature of the questions vary from one quest to another.
