Synopsis

Rambo is a side-scrolling platform game in which the player controls Rambo on his mission in Vietnam. The game starts at the military base before being sent to Vietnam. In Vietnam, Rambo must fight animals in jungles, swamps and caves like wasps, snakes, fish, tigers, bats, spiders, birds, monkeys and flamingos. Before heading to the POW camp, he must fight guards and mercenaries who can kick and shoot him, all wearing different colored shirts depending on their power. The game also requires the player to navigate a complex map requiring the player to find North and South points on the ground to move up and down levels as well as East and West by moving Rambo towards the edge of the screen. There are 6 different weapons that Rambo can pick up: a knife, a throwing knife, a bow and arrow, a scouting bow and arrow, a pistol, and a hand grenade. All weapons except the knife contain limited ammo which is collected from killed enemies. There are also health viles that restore health as well as mission-specific items that Rambo must find to complete certain missions. The game uses a password that can be recovered when talking to anyone.
