Synopsis

The player takes on the role of John Rambo and fights through five levels. The first and last are inspired by the desert battle of Rambo III; the second and third levels focus on Rambo freeing the prisoners from Rambo: First Blood Part II; and the fourth level shows Rambo rescuing his mentor, Colonel Trautman, from an enemy prison (also from Rambo III). In each level, the player must take down successive waves of enemy soldiers; if the player waits too long before killing an enemy, it will attack and the player will lose a life. Some enemies attack Rambo with grenades or rockets, which can be fired and destroyed in mid-air.
