Synopsis

The player controls a cursor that can move freely within a screen-sized arena—the nuclear reactor. At the center lies a sun-like source of gravitational energy: the slowly overheating reactor core. Touching the surrounding wall—or the "sun" itself—results in death. The cursor is controlled via a trackball; the player must roll it rapidly in a specific direction to overcome the gravitational pull exerted by the sun. Swarms of hostile objects—named after various radioactive particles—drift throughout the reactor arena, adhering to simple laws of physics. At low speeds, these enemies can bounce freely off the walls, exert a mutual repulsive force upon one another, and actively attack the player's cursor. Boss-type enemies frequently fragment into multiple smaller particles.
