Synopsis

Rectangle Battle pays homage to old shooter games from the 70s. The rather limited techniques that were available at the time forced developers to use minimalist graphics to visualize a world and its story. Rectangle Battle is a vintage space shooter that uses this old graphical style. It's a very small game with a basic single-player mode - chasing high scores - and a nice two-player alternative. In versus mode, you'll find yourself trying to hit your enemy while avoiding asteroids and gaining special powers.
