Synopsis

1911, the United States of America is rocked by the appearance of new technologies. Their appearance has angered many bands, who refuse civilization and fight to maintain the Wild West.
John Marston is a former outlaw, looking for a quiet new life in North America, where he has purchased a ranch, Beecher's Hope, for himself and his family. He had decided, a few years earlier, to leave his dark past behind him after being left for dead by his former gang, that of Dutch van der Linde.
When Federal Blackwater Bureau agent Edgar Ross takes his family hostage to force him to find and hand over his former brothers in arms, he has no choice but to accept and must now work for the government. Like any GTA-like, the game offers the player complete freedom of action in the vast Wild West.
