Synopsis

Reederei is a turn-based trading game where players can buy and sell goods to make a profit. The game is entirely playable through menus and there are no action sequences.

While playing, players try to run a shipping company based in Hamburg. Each turn, each player has the opportunity to send their ship to another seaport, buy goods there and return to Hamburg where they can sell it for a good price. Players must also purchase ships to upgrade their ship convoy, increasing their purchasing quota from other seaports.

The aim of the game is to increase the value of the company up to a certain score. This score depends on the difficulty of the game. The first player to reach this score (human or computer) wins the game.
