Synopsis

Relief Pitcher is a baseball game originally released on arcade machines, followed by versions for the Atari Lynx and Super NES.

Two game modes: Players can either start as a pitcher and play a 9-inning game for 1 or 2 players, or start as a relief pitcher and play a full 12-game season solo. Another mode "Relief Pitcher" allows you to play with 2 players in a "World League" in 7 matches.
The game features four fictional teams, each with different characteristics: the Boston Bashers, the Houston Dusters, the Los Angeles Speeders and the Chicago Strokers.
At the end of the game, each player receives a salary according to their performance.
Game commentary is provided by legendary baseball commentator Jack Buck.
