Synopsis
Return to Genesis takes place in the Zephyr system, where twelve scientists work on secret projects. Each scientist is cloned 50 times to improve productivity. Unfortunately, the evil Mechanauts have invaded the area, and the player must save the scientists and repel the invaders.
This horizontal shoot'em up requires you to shoot everything that moves - except the scientists, who must be recovered. However, they can be killed to finish the level, but this deprives the player of additional weapons: each scientist, with his clones, has equipment that can be activated as long as he is on board. Unlike many games of the genre, contact with the environment does not cause any damage, but reverses the direction of flight at full speed. In total, the game offers 50 levels with twelve scientists each.
