Synopsis

The story takes place in Japan, you play as Hayate, a young ninja warrior in the making and ready to stop the demon Lougi and his army of ghouls and goblins. You want to avenge the death of your father as well as the emperor and save your girlfriend from the clutches of the demon and end the terror in your lands.

Some of the enemies you face are Marco Killmore (a half-man, half-eagle samurai warrior), Zallen (a samurai warrior disgraced to destroy Hayate), Vengor (a stone Shiva-type character), Desfal (a dumbfounded woman), The MPK Destroyer (a possessed collection of samurai armor), and of course the demon samurai knight himself, Lougi.

To play the game, you must complete quick-time events like Dragon's Lair and Space Ace. There are three difficulty levels, each giving you a certain amount of time to press the buttons.
