Synopsis

Rings of Zilfin is an original, but relatively little-known, single-player fantasy role-playing game made by Ali N. Atabek, who later created the Magic Candle series. Aimed at beginners to computer role-playing games, it does not require character creation, features simple gameplay and cinematic-style cut scenes, and focuses more on atmosphere than character characteristics.

The Background: Long ago, the Zilfins (powerful sorcerers) established an enchanted kingdom of peace and ownership in Batiniq. They created two rings of power that, when worn together, made their wearer invincible. Unfortunately, the evil necromancer Lord Dragos found one of these rings and came to great power. The only hope to prevent him from finding the second is Reis, a young boy with innate magical abilities. In the introduction, Reis narrowly escapes Dragos' henchmen and leaves his native village.
