Synopsis
Rise of the Dragon es un juego de aventuras futurista en primera persona. Los gráficos del juego recuerdan a los de un cómic, con fotografías digitalizadas de los actores y fondos pintados a mano. A diferencia de la mayoría de los otros juegos de aventuras de la época, se basa menos en acertijos de inventario y más en elecciones específicas realizadas por el jugador. El juego tiene un reloj interno y requiere que el jugador planifique los movimientos del protagonista con anticipación para estar en el lugar correcto en el momento correcto. Los diálogos de opción múltiple se utilizan como herramienta de juego; una mala elección conduce muchas veces al final prematuro de la aventura.
