Synopsis

Risk of Rain 2 follows the crew of UES: Safe Travels as they attempt to find UES: Contact Light and any survivors along the way. They must try to survive the hostile wildlife and environment as the difficulty increases over time, navigating Petrichor V via teleporters scattered across the entire planet. The crew endlessly travels through many distinct environments, but ends up on the moon to defeat the final boss.

With each run you will learn the patterns of your enemies, and even the longest obstacles can be overcome with enough skill. A unique scaling system means you and your enemies increase your power without limit over the course of a game – what was once a boss fight will over time become a common enemy.

A myriad of survivors, items, enemies, and bosses return in Risk 2, and many new ones join the fight. All-new survivors like the Artificer and MUL-T debut alongside classic survivors like the Engineer, the Huntress, and of course, the Commando. With over 75 items to unlock and exploit, each game will allow you to develop a clever strategy to get out of sticky situations.
