Synopsis

In Road Wars, you are placed in charge on a long, hilly road, trying to secure a road after a protection malfunction. To do this, you must shoot at the barriers located on the side of the road (and avoid falling into the holes they create). You're always playing against another droid, who can be treated as friend or foe - pushing it into space on the side you've just created is a particularly neat trick, especially when playing against a human opponent. You are armed with a laser gun, which can be aimed separately from your primary direction of movement. The roads have a variety of hazards, including barriers and spikes, but it is possible to obtain bonus weapons and a speed boost. Contact with these obstacles (or your opponent) will gradually deplete your shields, and once they are depleted, you are unlikely to survive for long.
