Synopsis

The king was injured by an assassin. It's up to his sons and daughters to venture to Hamson's cursed castle, rumored to hold a cure for all ills.Rogue Legacy is a 2D real-time action-platform game with minor role-playing game (RPG) elements. As a variant of Rogue, the game also introduces randomly generated rooms and permadeath. However, the game introduces a unique element: with each death, the player chooses a new heir to continue the quest. Each new heir has different abilities and skills. Gold collected by an heir, upon death, can be used by the new heir to build a mansion, unlocking rooms that provide beneficial features.
