Synopsis

This game recreates the 1879 battle where a British outpost at Rorke's Drift, consisting of 137 men, successfully repulsed an attack by over 4,000 Zulu warriors.

It is a real-time strategy game in which the player can pause the game and issue orders in a command mode, after which the orders are carried out and the battle progresses. You can only play as the British, and two scenarios are available: one in which the Zulus attack according to the historical order of battle and deployment, and one in which the Zulus modify their attack strategy.

Individual troops are represented in the game as animated figurines, and the player can move soldiers, resolve hand-to-hand combat situations, and command a variety of firing positions for each soldier.
