Synopsis

The Third World War between 2001 and 2003 ended with a massive nuclear explosion. The force of the explosion and the effects of the radioactivity are felt all over the world and force humans to live in primitive caves. The only creatures struggling among the wasteland ruins are the krackat, a kind of mutated turtle. The krackats feast on human flesh and pose a constant threat to the remaining humans.

Rubble Trouble is a variation of Pengo. The game is played in a maze of rocks where krackats patrol looking for humans to eat. The player is a human and must kill all the krackats in each level. To kill a krackat, he must push a rock into the krackat's path and thus crush it. Rocks that are pushed into a wall will bounce back so the player must be careful or they might be killed by their own rock. Killed, he will also be killed if he comes into contact with a krackat. Radiation is also a problem. If the player takes too long, they might die or the rocks might disintegrate. Some rocks have special functions. Cyan rocks give extra points while rocks containing bombs could create a new holocaust.
