Synopsis

Run for the Money is an educational game about running a business. The game is aimed at two players who share the same screen to move around their characters. The characters are bizlings, space travelers who crash-landed on the planet Simian. The accident damaged the ship's paint shield and before they can leave, they need to buy paint.

To purchase the necessary paint, you must first earn money. This is done by producing and selling synannas (synthetic bananas) to the simian population. Players must first acquire a raw material called ruf, which is done by moving the bizling to one of the six ruf warehouses located on the screen. Each ruf warehouse has its own price which indicates its quality. After entering a ruf house, the player can wait for the price to drop, but there is a risk that the seller decides not to sell. Once purchased, rufs can be transported into the spaceship and transformed into synannas which the Simians will then come to collect and pay for. Sometimes it is necessary to advertise, which is done by lighting a sign.
