Synopsis

Runaway is a point and click adventure game in which the player takes on the role of a monkey who is trying to escape from his zoo. It uses a classic verb-based point and click interface, but with an unusual twist: you must first click on the object you want to manipulate, then on the verb. Another quirk of the game is that the protagonist can only carry one inventory item at a time, and must either use or drop the current item before they can pick up another.

The game is playable in English and German, and the language can be changed instantly by clicking a flag button in the interface.
