RVF Honda
Synopsis
RVF Honda offers us here a good motorcycle simulation, much less arcade-based than other titles of the genre (notably Super Hang-on). It is above all the realism which marks the player in this excellent game.
Before the race, you go through practice during which you will have to set the best time in order to start as far ahead as possible, and even take pole position. The realism is so advanced that at the start, it's you who push the motorcycle and get on it in the middle of the race. The behavior of the motorcycle is also well rendered, in short, we were touching on what was best at that time.
Technically, it's very, very good and it's especially the rendering of the engine noise that is striking. It's graphically very beautiful and very fluid. Nothing to complain about for Micropose programmers. We might just regret reaching the breaker so quickly, which detracts a little from the exhilarating sensation of pushing your machine as high as possible in the towers.
In conclusion, here is an excellent title that we saw with pleasure arriving on Atari St. RVF Honda is for me to motorcycle simulation what Vroom is to formula 1.
