Synopsis

When we tell you that NEC and Hudson Soft were not afraid! Art of Fighting is one of half a dozen software programs ported from the Neo-Geo to the PC Engine. And for that, the little eight-bit not only needed CD support, but also a little boost provided by the Arcade Card, an extension allowing the size of the beast's internal memory to be increased!
The story of Art of Fighting (Ryuuko no Ken in Japan) focuses on Ryo Sakazaki and Robert Garcia, two street fighting experts who are looking for Yuri, sister of the first and undoubtedly the second's favorite chick. The latter was kidnapped by a mafia gang led by... Eheh, even at the end of the game you won't know!
Art of Fighting is a classic 2D beat 'em up. Like the first Fatal Fury - with which the game has many connections - you will only be able to choose from the two heroes to go through the single-player mode. On the other hand, together you can choose your fighter among eight, the two heroes plus the six characters that you face alone, only the final boss being unplayable.
