Synopsis

This game bearing the name of Nobuhiko Takada is a somewhat special wrestling simulation since it aims to reproduce the clashes that took place at the UWFi. The UWFi or Union Wrestling Forces International was a "shootfighting" federation: the fights, although "arranged" like those of other wrestling federations, were intended to be as realistic as possible and the blows were delivered as hard as possible without injuring the opponent. The match style was a mix of kickboxing and ground fighting with submission holds, which is now found in MMA such as Ultimate Fighting or K-1.
