Synopsis

In a remote area of ​​the universe, an alien creature called Zelos was born. As it grew, its appetite increased and it soon began devouring galaxies, planets and stars by the hundreds. Now your planet has found itself in the path of Zelos, and it's up to you and your partner to launch into battle to save your world.

Six levels alternate between side-scrolling and vertical-scrolling, each of which ends with a powerful Boss. Throughout the game, destroying certain enemies unlocks power-ups that can be used to equip your ship with more powerful weapons, increased speed, and shields.
