Synopsis

In 1787, during the Tenmei period, Japan was ravaged by chaos, famine, and an evil shadow that stretched over the land. Shizuka Gozen, a tormented soul trapped in the realm of the dead, threatens to destroy everything. Warriors with varied motivations come together to face this threat, including Haohmaru, the wanderer with the legendary sword, and Nakoruru, the priestess protector of nature.
The game marks a return to the series' roots with ultra-violent gun battles, bloody finishers, and the iconic "Rage Gauge" system, which amplifies attacks when the player is in difficulty.
