Synopsis

Sanma no Meitantei ("Great Detective Sanma") is a detective adventure game for the Famicom, developed and published by Namco in 1987. Similar to Portopia Renzoku Satsujin Jiken, the player must visit various locations associated with the murder victim to uncover clues that open new locations in order to find more evidence and identify the culprit. The game is entirely in Japanese and has never been translated into English. The story takes place during a party organized by President Yoshimoto in his villa, where Katsura Buntin is found murdered in the safe, with the theft of the "Star of Africa" ​​diamond as a bonus. As Detective Sanma Akashiya's assistant, you must help solve the case. The game includes a Galaxian parody mini-game and sound effects from other Namco hits such as Dig Dug and Xevious.
