Synopsis

Sanrio Cup: Pon Pon Volley is a volleyball video game featuring several of Sanrio's popular characters, including Hello Kitty, Keroppi, and Minna no Tabo. Matches can be played with two, three or four players. Players can choose between three different background music tracks, or simply play without the music.

The game is essentially a game of volleyball/tennis but without the nets, closely resembling four squares. There is an option to increase the difficulty level which changes the level of intelligence with which the computer controlled game. There are opportunities to commit carryovers. After the end of the game, the player receives a large ostrich trophy.

Although the game was released exclusively in Japan, an English translation was made.
