Synopsis

Saper is a two-dimensional platform game with puzzle-solving elements. The story is about a criminal organization that managed to steal important NATO documents. When CIA agents failed to recover the documents, the authorities decided to blow up the criminals' headquarters. Numerous explosives were planted in the building. The player must destroy all bombs visible on the screen and reach an exit point. Some bombs and exits are not easily accessible. To access it, it is necessary to move certain tiles. The basis for accomplishing the mission is the order of detonation of explosive devices. Some tiles have unique functions. An additional difficulty is the time limit, to pass each of the 64 levels of the game the authors devote 120 seconds. The player will have to deal with disappearing tiles, exploding mines, or ice surfaces that move the player to the first ice-free area. On the other hand, the expanding factory, the detonator of all the bombs or the teleporter should greatly facilitate the task.
