Synopsis

Rainbow Islands - The Story of Bubble Bobble 2 is the sequel to the legendary 'Bubble Bobble' - released a year earlier - where one to two players (who, unlike 'Bubble Bobble' do not play simultaneously) take on the role of Bub and Bob, who have returned to their original human form after their success in Bubble Bobble. They were asked upon their return to rescue Rainbow Island from the many enemies who had taken possession of the island in their absence.

Bub and Bob have the power to create rainbows. This ingenious accessory is both a weapon (which can trap enemies and kill them instantly, by crossing them or dropping the rainbow on them), a means of collecting bonuses and gems, or an ephemeral platform allowing you to reach inaccessible places in the level. The objective is to reach the top of the level before the time runs out.

This platform game is a pure success, worth trying without hesitation.
