Synopsis

You were Alan Chance, a brilliant police officer, until your death during a raid on drug dealers who had taken a hostage. It is assumed that you died because of your own mistakes. Now you return as a spirit, with psychic powers. From your funeral, you must follow the conversations to find clues. One of the first tasks is to find items that increase your physical capabilities. You receive help from other deceased people, including the pub owner, Joe Danby. Scapeghost was Level 9's last adventure game and follows the same format as the previous ones, with a text parser and additional graphics. The puzzles require giving instructions to other characters. The game is divided into three days, each of which can be played independently: November Graveyard, Haunted House, and Poltergeist.
