Synopsis

By the year 3260, humans have mastered interstellar travel and have successfully colonized almost the entire Milky Way. Seven hundred years later, the Jiro star cluster has become the focus of political conflict and struggles for dominance. The player's task is to transform the weak nation of Sankuri into a powerful force, uniting the other stars of the cluster under his leadership.

Schwarzschild is a turn-based strategy game. The game mainly deals with large-scale space battles and their preparation. There is little emphasis on political management within a single country, although various diplomatic options are available. As the player acquires and deploys spaceships, they move and fight in predefined orders. There are no separate battles during which the player must enter active orders.
