Synopsis

This is the story of good versus evil. The Sages maintained order and peace for many years, until the arrival of the Dark Hordes. These evil creatures had only one goal: to sow chaos wherever they went. They stole the Sage's three power artifacts: the Staff of Light, the Hammer and the Box of Vib-Ra. Deprived of their powers, the Sages could no longer contain the Hordes of Darkness.

The legend tells of a warrior who enters the fortress of the Dark Hordes, the Castle of the Dead, and retrieves these artifacts and returns them to their rightful locations, thereby restoring the power of the Sages and ridding the land of evil.
