Synopsis
In The Secret of St. Brides, the player takes on the role of Trixie Trinian, a young woman determined to uncover the secret of St. Brides. Accompanied by her friends Cynthia and Fiona, she must discover why all the residents think they are immersed in the 1920s and restore normality. A secondary quest, independent of the main objective, consists of finding an amulet. This classic text adventure game was created with Gilsoft's Quill software, with inputs entered in verb-noun form. The graphics are full screen and the game, initially sold only by mail order, benefited from a distribution partnership following positive reviews.
