Synopsis

In a medieval land where a country's power and prosperity depended on the mahjong skills of its inhabitants, Darol's army began an invasion campaign, aided by demonic forces. The Kingdom of Rida has been conquered. The young royal guard Biares fought valiantly, but was unable to defeat her mysterious mahjong opponent. He was teleported away, and found by a girl named Olivie. Biares must find a way to return to Rida and free his country from invaders, finding companions and playing mahjong on the way.
Seisenshi Denshō: Jantaku no Kishi is a mahjong game. The story mode features cutscenes and dialogue between mahjong matches. Mahjong gameplay itself is of the head-to-head variety; some rules regarding combinations and bonuses can be customized. Free mode allows the player to match Biares to different characters encountered in story mode.
