Synopsis

Sengoku Kantō Sangokushi is a turn-based historical strategy game set in the Sengoku period of Japanese history. The player can take control of one of three major warlords of the era: Uesugi Kenshin, Hōjō Ujiyasu, or Takeda Shingen. Each warlord first controls a province with several cities, and attempts to gain territory through diplomatic or military means. Each turn, the player has a limited number of moves at his disposal. each general has his own options, although some (e.g. marriage) are limited to the main warlord himself.
Each city must survive and increase its reputation by maintaining an army and keeping the population happy. This is achieved by trading (buying and selling rice), giving money to civilians or soldiers, developing the city, etc. Each general can also make alliances with leaders of other provinces, sign agreements and send spies.
