Synopsis

The Second Encounter begins where the previous game left off, with Sam traveling to Sirius aboard the SSS Centerprice. Unfortunately, the ship is accidentally hit by the "Croteam crate-bus" and plunges to the Earth's surface. As the ship falls, Sam reads the coordinates and fears he will land in Egypt again, but instead he crashes into Central America during the time of the Mayans, with the ship now heavily damaged on impact. However, all hope is not lost, as the Sirians left a "rescue ship" on Earth, which was a failsafe in case anything happened to the SSS Centerprice. However, because this escape ship is in a different time than Sam is currently in, he will need to discover the location of the Sirian portals that will help him reach his destination.
