Description
In Ninja Gaiden (renamed Shadow Warriors in Europe), the player plays a ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, through his journey to the United States to find the murderer of his father. One of the peculiarities of Ninja Gaiden is the variety of movements available to the hero, which allow him to move with ease in the setting: Among other things, a perilous jump forward or backward, a lateral jump that also makes it possible to reach the upper platforms or the "Phoenix Backflip" (reverse jump by leaning on a wall). The attack movements consist of a quick chain of kicks/fists, a “Flying Neck Throw” projection and a special “tourbillon” shot.
