Synopsis

The game features colorful cel-shaded graphics and strategy/combat style gameplay. During a battle, a rock, paper, or scissors-based attack can be chosen to fight, and the final outcome of the attack sequence is determined based on the type of attack chosen. During battles, energy crystals will be retained for each successful attack. These activate cinematic special attacks unique to the character, based on the number of crystals earned. (Max.3) The full voice acting is also presented in story mode, directly from the Japanese version of the anime. The story mode is played with Yoh Asakura through the anime's story. Shaman Fight mode is a free battle option, Shaman King mode is a survival mode option where you choose three out of eight characters to fight in 4 random battles and level them up to play in one of the Shaman Fight modes. The 4th battle is still Hao Asakura in this mode.
